Hey everyone,

Welcome to the Recovery Support & Motivation Thread—a space to connect, encourage, and inspire each other on our journeys to recovery. Whether you're just beginning, in the middle of recovery, or are working through setbacks, this is a place where you can find support and strength.

What This Thread is For:
  • Sharing your wins—no matter how small they may seem.
  • Asking for advice or support if you're feeling stuck or discouraged.
  • Offering encouragement to others on their recovery path.
  • Staying motivated and focused on your long-term healing.
Why You’re Here Matters:
  • Recovery from anorexia and/or bullimia is tough, but it’s not impossible. Every step forward—no matter how small—counts. You deserve to live a life free from the grips of this disorder, and we’re here to remind each other of that.
Some Things to Keep in Mind as We Share Here:
  • No judgment: Everyone’s recovery journey is unique. Let’s be kind and compassionate to ourselves and others.
  • Celebrate victories: Whether it’s eating a meal, taking a rest, or challenging negative thoughts, every positive step deserves recognition.
  • Share when you need encouragement: If you’re struggling, don’t hesitate to ask for support. We’re here for you.
  • Stay hopeful: Recovery is not linear, and it’s okay to have tough days. But every day is a new opportunity for healing.
Remember:
  • You’re not alone. We are here to support each other, to lift each other up, and to remind one another that recovery is possible, even when it feels overwhelming. You are strong, and you are capable of healing.
If you’re ready, share something you’re working on, a goal you’ve set for yourself, or just a message of encouragement for someone else. We’re all in this together.

Post what time zone you are in and when your time you have availability. There are people from Australia to California so someone should be able to meet up for a quick test.
